Tanking is often the "gateway" role for the DCUO players, and I enjoy most tanking powers (with one exception - Rage - more on that later). Still, if you're looking for a good introductory power, you can pretty much set up a variety of loadout (my differs quite a bit from the above guide, but I highly recommend his guide). As such, if you're interested, please give it a good, and do enjoy!
As a follow on, there are a couple of Terras (three to be specific) in the DC universe. Atlee Terra is the second of three (and the description is/at the 9:23 minute mark), and the convoluted story line. Worth a watch, and it includes a vague description of her relationship with Power Girl (the narrator states they are friends, but it would appear there is more to that relationship).
